Receive the UPC code and its validity via SMS
Visit a Jio Store, Jio Retailer, or Jio authorized partner
Carry your original Aadhaar card or another valid ID proof
Carry one passport-size photograph
Share your mobile number and UPC code with the Jio representative
Choose a Jio prepaid or postpaid plan
Complete KYC verification
Submit the porting request
Keep your Airtel SIM active until the porting is completed
Wait for the porting process to finish, usually within a few days
Insert the Jio SIM after Airtel service stops and activation is confirmed
Restart your phone and verify Jio network activation
