Boil 4 parts water
Remove from heat
Stir in 1 part white granulated sugar until fully dissolved
Let the mixture cool completely
Fill a clean hummingbird feeder with the nectar
Store extra nectar in the refrigerator
Replace nectar every 2 to 3 days in hot weather
Replace nectar every 5 to 7 days in cooler weather
Clean the feeder regularly before refilling
