Open the Google app on your Android or iPhone
Tap your profile icon
Tap Settings
Tap Gemini (or Google Gemini)
Turn off the Gemini option(s) you see
If you don’t see Gemini in the Google app settings, open the Google app settings again and look for “Assistant” or “AI” settings, then disable Gemini-related options
Go to https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Sign in if prompted
Find Gemini or Google Assistant-related permissions
Remove or revoke any Gemini-related access/permissions you don’t want
Go to https://myaccount.google.com/activitycontrols
Under Web & App Activity and/or Assistant activity, turn off the relevant activity controls
Save your changes
Disable notifications from Gemini
Android: Settings > Apps > Google > Notifications > Gemini (or Assistant) > turn off
iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Google > turn off notifications for Gemini (or Assistant)
Stop Gemini from appearing in search suggestions (if available)
Open Google app > Settings > Search settings (or General) > turn off any Gemini/AI search suggestions options
