Open Excel
Click File
Click Account
Look for About Excel or Product Information
Check the version number listed there
On Windows, you can also click File
Click Help if available
Look for the version details in the About section
On Mac, click Excel in the menu bar
Click About Microsoft Excel
Check the version shown in the window
