Open the Quick Settings or Control Center and tap Power off or Shut down
Go to Settings and search for Power off, Shut down, or Accessibility shortcuts
Use the on-screen Assistive Touch or Accessibility menu if available
Ask Google Assistant or Siri to turn off the phone
Let the battery drain completely, then recharge it
Use a scheduled power off feature if your phone has one
If the screen is unresponsive, use the device’s built-in emergency or accessibility power menu
For Android, press and hold the power icon in the notification shade if present
For iPhone, use AssistiveTouch and tap Device, then Lock Screen, then press and hold the on-screen power option if available
If none of these work, back up your data and get the power button repaired
