Measure the wall length and height
Calculate the wall area: length × height
Subtract openings such as doors and windows
Determine the brick size including mortar joint
Calculate the area covered by one brick with mortar
Divide the wall area by the area of one brick with mortar
Add 5% to 10% extra for wastage and breakage
Multiply the final brick count by the number of wall layers if needed
Use the formula: Number of bricks = Wall area ÷ Brick area with mortar + wastage
