Open the Start menu
Type Command Prompt and open it
Type `ipconfig` and press Enter
Look for the IPv4 Address line
Open Settings
Go to Network & Internet
Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet
Click the connected network
View the IP address under Properties
Open Control Panel
Go to Network and Internet
Open Network and Sharing Center
Click the active connection
Select Details
Find the IPv4 Address entry
Open a web browser
Search for “what is my IP”
View your public IP address in the search results
