Fill the water reservoir with fresh water
Insert a coffee filter into the basket if required
Add ground coffee to the filter
Close the lid securely
Place the carafe on the warming plate
Turn on the coffee maker or press the brew button
Wait until brewing is complete
Pour the coffee into a cup
Turn off the coffee maker when finished
Clean the filter basket and carafe after use
