Open Instagram
Go to your Direct Messages
Find the chat you want to archive
Swipe left on the chat on iPhone or tap and hold on Android
Select Archive if the option appears
If Archive is not available, use Restrict or delete the chat instead
To view archived chats, check your message requests or archived message area if available on your app version
