Open the Settings app
Tap General
Tap About
Find the Model Name and Model Number
Check the back of the iPhone for the model number on older models
Remove the SIM tray and look for the model number on some iPhone models
Enter the model number on Apple’s website to identify the exact iPhone model
Use the original box to check the model information
Connect the iPhone to a computer and check device details in Finder or iTunes
