Open Snapchat
Swipe down from the camera screen
Tap the Snap Map icon if it appears
If prompted, allow location access
Turn on Location Services in your phone settings
Make sure Snapchat has permission to use your location
Update Snapchat if the map does not show
Check that Ghost Mode is turned off if you want others to see your location
Reopen Snapchat after changing location settings
