Check your Chromebook model specifications to see whether it supports a touchscreen
If it does not support touchscreen hardware, you cannot enable touchscreen through settings or software
If it does support touchscreen hardware, make sure the screen is clean and dry
Restart the Chromebook
Open Settings
Go to Device or Accessibility settings
Look for touch-related options and enable them if available
Update ChromeOS to the latest version
If the touchscreen is unresponsive, perform a hard reset
If the touchscreen still does not work, contact the manufacturer or a repair service
If you want touch input on a non-touch Chromebook, use a touchscreen monitor or external touch-enabled display
