On Linux, open Terminal and type `ip link` to view the MAC address
On Linux, open Terminal and type `ifconfig` if available, then look for `ether` or `HWaddr`
On ChromeOS, open Settings > Network > Wi-Fi, then select your connected network to view the MAC address
Check the label on the laptop box, sticker, or device documentation for the MAC address if listed
Check the network adapter properties in your device manager or network settings for the MAC address
Use the MAC address shown for the active Wi-Fi or Ethernet adapter, not the device name
