Unplug the fridge
Remove all food
Throw away expired or spoiled items
Take out shelves, drawers, and bins
Wash removable parts with warm water and mild dish soap
Rinse and dry removable parts completely
Mix warm water with mild soap or baking soda
Wipe the inside walls, ceiling, floor, and door seals
Use a soft cloth or sponge
Clean corners and tight spaces with a toothbrush or cotton swab
Wipe away any residue with a clean damp cloth
Dry all surfaces with a clean towel
Put shelves, drawers, and bins back in place
Return food to the fridge
Plug the fridge back in
Clean spills immediately after they happen
