Contact your FASTag issuer bank or wallet provider
Log in to the issuer’s FASTag portal or mobile app
Go to the FASTag account or services section
Select the option to close, deactivate, or surrender FASTag
Clear all pending toll dues, penalties, and outstanding balance
Remove or destroy the FASTag sticker from the vehicle after closure is confirmed
Submit any required closure request form or ticket
Provide vehicle number, FASTag ID, and registered mobile number if asked
Return the FASTag, if the issuer requires it
Wait for confirmation of closure from the issuer
Check that the FASTag status shows closed or deactivated
Contact customer support if the closure option is not available online
