How To Make Karela Juice?

Wash 2–3 karelas thoroughly

Trim the ends

Peel lightly if desired

Cut lengthwise

Remove the seeds

Chop into small pieces

Sprinkle salt over the pieces

Rest for 10–15 minutes

Squeeze out the bitter water

Rinse the pieces if needed

Add the karela pieces to a blender

Add 1/2 to 1 cup water

Add a small piece of ginger if desired

Add lemon juice if desired

Blend until smooth

Strain the juice through a sieve or muslin cloth

Pour into a glass

Add black salt or honey if desired

Serve fresh
