Blot the stain with rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth
Place a paper towel under the stained area
Dab from the outside of the stain inward
Rinse with cold water
Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric together or with a soft brush
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Wash the clothing in the hottest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if needed
Use hand sanitizer or hairspray if rubbing alcohol is unavailable
For delicate fabrics, test the cleaner on a hidden area first
Do not put the item in the dryer until the stain is gone
