Select ripe avocados
Wash the avocados
Remove the pits
Scoop out the flesh
Mash or blend the flesh into a smooth paste
Spread the avocado paste in a thin layer on a tray
Dry the paste completely in a warm, low-humidity area or dehydrator
Scrape the dried avocado material into a bowl
Press or squeeze the dried material to extract the oil
Strain the extracted oil through a fine cloth or filter
Collect the filtered avocado oil in a clean container
Store the oil in a sealed dark bottle in a cool place
