How To Make Mozzarella Cheese Sticks?

Cut mozzarella into stick-sized pieces

Pat the cheese dry

Set out flour in one bowl

Beat eggs in a second bowl

Mix breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, and optional Italian seasoning in a third bowl

Coat each cheese stick in flour

Dip each stick in beaten eggs

Roll each stick in breadcrumbs

Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust

Place coated sticks on a tray

Freeze the sticks for at least 1 hour

Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F

Fry the sticks in small batches until golden brown

Remove and drain on paper towels

Serve warm with marinara sauce
