Wash and dry fresh oregano leaves completely
Lightly bruise the leaves to release their oils
Fill a clean glass jar with the oregano leaves
Cover the leaves fully with a carrier oil such as olive oil
Make sure no leaves are exposed above the oil
Seal the jar tightly
Place the jar in a warm, dark area for 1 to 2 weeks
Shake the jar gently every day
Strain the oil through cheesecloth or a fine strainer
Pour the strained oil into a clean, dry glass bottle
Store the oil in a cool, dark place
Use clean, dry utensils whenever handling it
