Deal 11 cards to each player in the first round
Place the remaining cards face down as the draw pile
Turn the top card face up to start the discard pile
The game uses five suits: stars, clubs, spades, hearts, and diamonds
Each round adds one more card to the deal, from 3 cards up to 13 cards
The wild card is the rank matching the current round number
In round 3, all 3s are wild; in round 4, all 4s are wild, and so on
Kings are always high and cannot be used as low cards
On your turn, draw one card from either the draw pile or the discard pile
Try to form books of three or more cards of the same rank
Try to form runs of three or more cards in the same suit
Wild cards can be used to replace missing cards in books or runs
After drawing, you may lay down any valid sets from your hand
At the end of your turn, discard one card face up
You may go out only if all cards in your hand are part of valid sets except one discard
When a player goes out, the round ends immediately
Score the remaining cards in other players’ hands
Number cards score their face value
Jacks, queens, and kings score 10 points each
Wild cards score 20 points each
The player with the lowest total score after all rounds wins
Play continues for all rounds from 3 through 13 cards
Shuffle and deal a new round after each round ends
