Make intention in your heart for the prayer you are about to pray
Stand facing the Qiblah
Raise both hands and say Allahu Akbar
Place the right hand over the left hand on the chest or upper body
Recite the opening supplication if you know it
Recite Surah Al-Fatihah
Recite another short Surah or verses from the Quran in the first two rakahs
Bow into ruku and say Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem three times
Stand up from ruku and say Sami Allahu liman hamidah, then Rabbana lakal hamd
Prostrate into sujood and say Subhana Rabbiyal A’la three times
Sit briefly between the two prostrations
Prostrate a second time and say Subhana Rabbiyal A’la three times
Complete the same steps for the remaining rakahs
Sit for the final tashahhud
Recite the tashahhud
Send blessings upon the Prophet if known
Make personal supplication if desired
Turn the head right and say Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
Turn the head left and say Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
