Install fresh batteries in the RCA universal remote
Turn on the device you want to program
Find the device code for your brand in the RCA code list
Press and hold the device button on the remote until the indicator light turns on
Enter the code using the number buttons
Wait for the indicator light to turn off
Test the remote functions
If the code does not work, repeat with another code for the same brand
If no code works, use the code search method
Turn on the device
Press and hold the device button until the indicator light turns on
Press and hold Power or Play, depending on the remote model, until the device turns off
Release the button
Press Stop or OK to save the code
Test the remote again
Repeat for each device you want to program
Reprogram if the remote stops working after battery replacement
