Turn on the device you want to control
Press and hold the device button on the RCA remote
While holding the device button, press and hold the Power button
Wait until the remote’s LED turns on
Release both buttons
Enter the correct 4-digit code for your device
If the LED turns off, the code was accepted
Test the Power, Volume, and Channel buttons
If the device does not respond, repeat the process with a different code
If you do not know the code, use the code search method
Press and hold the device button and Power button again
Release when the LED turns on
Press the Power button repeatedly until the device turns off
Press Enter or OK to save the code
Test the remote again
Replace the batteries if the remote still does not work
Make sure you are using the correct device button for the device type
Reset the remote if needed by removing the batteries for a few minutes and trying again
