Turn on the device you want to control
Find the device code for your TV, DVD player, cable box, or other device
Press and hold the Setup button until the red light stays on
Press the device button you want to program
Enter the code using the number buttons
Wait for the red light to turn off
Test the remote with the device
If the device does not respond, repeat the steps with another code
If no code works, use the code search method
Press and hold Setup until the red light stays on
Press the device button
Press Power repeatedly until the device turns off
Press Enter or Setup to save the code
Test all basic functions
Repeat for each additional device
