Turn on the device you want to program
Find the correct code for your TV, DVD player, or other device in the Spectrum remote code list
Press and hold the appropriate device button on the remote
While holding the device button, press and hold the OK or Select button
Release both buttons when the device button blinks twice
Enter the 3-digit or 5-digit code using the number pad
If the device button blinks twice, the code was accepted
Test the remote with power, volume, and channel buttons
If the remote does not work, repeat the steps with another code
If no code works, use the auto-search method
Turn on the device
Press and hold the device button and OK or Select until the device button blinks twice
Press the Power button once
Press Channel Up repeatedly until the device turns off
Press OK or Select to save the code
Test the remote again
Repeat for each device you want to program
