Open the Voice Memos, Recorder, or Voice Recorder app on your phone
Tap the record button
Speak or play the sound you want to record
Tap the stop button when finished
Save the recording if prompted
Open the Camera app if you want to record video
Switch to Video mode
Tap the record button to start
Tap the stop button to finish
Find the recording in your Photos, Gallery, or Files app
