Go to iforgot.apple.com
Enter your Apple ID email address
Follow the on-screen steps to reset your password
Check your trusted devices for a reset notification
Check your trusted phone number for a verification code
Use the verification code to confirm your identity
Create a new Apple password
If you cannot access your trusted device or number, start account recovery at iforgot.apple.com
If you use a Mac, open System Settings or System Preferences
Select your Apple ID
Choose Password & Security
Select Change Password
If you use an iPhone or iPad, open Settings
Tap your name
Tap Password & Security
Tap Change Password
