Go to the Steam Support website or open the Steam client
Sign in to your Steam account
Select the game you want to refund
Click on the purchase issue or refund option
Choose “I would like a refund”
Select the reason for the refund
Choose whether you want the refund to go to your original payment method or Steam Wallet
Submit the refund request
Wait for Steam to review the request
Check your email or Steam Support page for the refund status
Make sure the game was purchased within 14 days and played for less than 2 hours
