Power off the device
Wash and dry your hands
Peel up one corner of the glass protector with a fingernail or a thin plastic card
Lift the protector slowly from one edge
Keep the protector close to the screen as you peel to reduce cracking
If needed, use a piece of tape to help lift a corner
If the protector is shattered, place clear tape over it before removing
Remove the protector completely
Clean any leftover adhesive or dust from the screen with a microfiber cloth
Use a small amount of screen-safe cleaner if needed
Dispose of the old protector safely
