Start with clean, fully dry hair
Apply a heat protectant to all hair
Section hair into 2–4 layers (clip the top layers up)
Take a small strand (about 1–2 inches wide)
Clamp the straightener near the roots
Twist the straightener 180–360 degrees away from your face
Slowly glide the straightener down the length of the strand
Keep the same twist direction for consistent curls
For tighter curls, use smaller sections and twist more tightly
For looser waves, use larger sections and twist less
Repeat on each section, alternating directions if you want natural-looking waves
Let curls cool for 1–3 minutes before touching
Finger-comb or gently brush for softer waves
Set with a light-hold hairspray if needed
