Select the files or folder you want to compress
Right-click the selected items
Choose Send to
Click Compressed (zipped) folder
Enter a name for the zipped folder
Press Enter
On Mac, select the files or folder
Right-click or Control-click the selection
Choose Compress
Wait for the ZIP file to be created
On Linux, select the files or folder
Right-click and choose Compress or Create Archive
Choose ZIP as the format
Click Create or OK
