Unplug the fountain and remove the water tray
Empty any remaining water from the tray
Rinse the tray with warm water
Wash the tray with mild dish soap and a soft sponge
Clean corners and edges gently with a soft brush or cloth
Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
Dry the tray completely with a clean towel or air dry
Reinstall the tray only after it is fully dry
Clean the water tray regularly to prevent buildup
