Turn off and unplug the PETKIT Max 2
Remove the water tank, waste bin, and any detachable parts
Empty any remaining water or waste
Wash detachable parts with warm water and mild soap
Rinse all parts thoroughly
Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth
Clean sensors and edges gently with a soft, dry cloth
Dry all parts completely before reassembly
Reinstall all cleaned parts
Refill the water tank and check for proper operation
Clean regularly to prevent buildup and odor
