Decide how short you want the sleeves
Mark the cut line with chalk or a fabric marker
Cut both sleeves evenly with sharp fabric scissors
Cut slightly outside the marked line if you want to hem later
Trim slowly to keep the edges even
Try the shirt on and adjust if needed
Hem or leave the edges raw if desired
