Endorse the back of the check with your signature
Write “For deposit only” if required by your bank
Choose your deposit method: mobile app, ATM, or branch
Open your bank’s mobile app and select Deposit Check if using mobile deposit
Take clear photos of the front and back of the check if using mobile deposit
Enter the check amount and select the account to deposit into
Submit the deposit and wait for confirmation
Keep the check until the deposit clears
Visit an ATM or branch if depositing in person
Insert the check or hand it to a teller and follow the prompts
Save the receipt or confirmation for your records
