Remove old polish
Wash and dry hands
Trim nails to desired length
File nails into shape
Push back cuticles gently
Buff the nail surface lightly
Clean nails with alcohol or nail cleanser
Apply a base coat
Apply thin layers of nail polish
Let each coat dry
Apply a top coat
Clean up edges with a small brush or remover
Let nails dry completely
Apply cuticle oil or hand cream
