Use pH test strips
Use a liquid pH indicator
Measure the sample at room temperature
Calibrate the pH meter before use
Rinse the probe or strip holder with distilled water
Dip the strip or probe into the sample
Wait for the reading to stabilize
Compare the color change to the pH chart if using strips or indicators
Record the pH value
Repeat the test for accuracy
Clean the equipment after use
