Helium is not practically “made” in ordinary conditions
It is produced naturally by radioactive decay of heavy elements in Earth’s crust
It can be extracted from natural gas deposits that contain helium
Industrial extraction uses cryogenic separation and gas purification
It can also be created in nuclear fusion processes in stars
In laboratories, helium can be produced in particle accelerators through nuclear reactions
These methods require specialized industrial or scientific equipment
Helium cannot be safely or practically synthesized at home
