Lay the jacket flat on a clean surface
Smooth out any wrinkles
Button or zip the jacket if applicable
Fold one shoulder and sleeve inward toward the center
Fold the other shoulder and sleeve inward toward the center
Fold the jacket in half lengthwise if needed
Fold the bottom up toward the collar
Fold again into a compact rectangle if desired
Keep the edges aligned
Place the folded jacket flat for storage
