Craft or obtain seeds
Equip the seeds in your hotbar
Find or make farmland by using a hoe on dirt or grass
Make sure the farmland is near water
Hold the seeds and place them on the farmland
Wait for the crop to grow over time
Use bone meal to speed up growth if available
Harvest the fully grown crop to get more seeds and food
