Crack an egg on a flat surface
Separate the shell into two halves
Let the egg white fall into a clean bowl
Keep the yolk in one shell half
Pass the yolk back and forth between shell halves if needed
Let any remaining egg white drip into the bowl
Place the yolk in a separate container
Repeat with additional eggs as needed
