Open Finder
Click Go in the menu bar
Select AirDrop
Turn on Wi-Fi
Turn on Bluetooth
Set Allow me to be discovered by to Contacts Only or Everyone
Keep the Mac awake and unlocked
Open the file you want to share
Click the Share button
Select AirDrop
Choose the nearby device to send to
