Turn on the TV
Turn on the DISH receiver
Find the TV brand code for your TV
Press and hold the TV mode button on the DISH remote until all mode buttons light up
Enter the TV code using the number buttons
Press the pound button
Press the power button to test the TV
If the TV turns off, press the select button to save the code
If the TV does not respond, repeat with the next TV code
If needed, use the remote setup menu on the receiver to program the remote automatically
