Open your Google Docs document
Click Insert
Select Table
Choose a 1×1 table
Type or paste your content inside the table
Adjust the table size as needed
Right-click the table
Select Table properties
Set the border color
Set the border width
Set the border dash if desired
Click outside the table to apply the border
