How To Add A Horizontal Line In Word?

Type three hyphens `—` and press Enter

Type three underscores `___` and press Enter

Type three equal signs `===` and press Enter

Type three asterisks `***` and press Enter

Go to Home

Select Borders

Choose Horizontal Line

Insert a line from the Shapes menu

Use the keyboard shortcut for a border line if available

Open the Insert tab

Select Horizontal Line if shown in your version of Word
