Open iMovie
Create a new project or open an existing one
Click Audio or Music in the media browser
Browse your music library, soundtracks, or files
Select the song you want
Drag the music clip into the timeline
Place it under the video where you want it to start
Trim the audio clip if needed
Adjust the volume if needed
Export or save your project
