Windows 11 Home does not include the built-in Remote Desktop host feature
Use a third-party remote desktop app such as AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, RustDesk, or Splashtop
Download and install the same app on both computers
Sign in or create the required account if the app needs one
Enable unattended access on the Windows 11 Home PC if supported
Set a strong password for remote access
Allow the app through Windows Firewall when prompted
Keep the Windows 11 Home PC powered on and connected to the internet
Use the remote access app from the other device to connect
If you need Microsoft Remote Desktop host support, upgrade Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro
After upgrading to Pro, open Settings
Go to System
Go to Remote Desktop
Turn on Remote Desktop
Confirm the prompt
Note the PC name for connections
Connect from another Windows device using the Remote Desktop app
