Park on level ground facing a flat wall or garage door
Check tire pressure and vehicle load
Measure headlight height from the ground to the center of each headlight
Mark the wall at the same height with tape
Back the vehicle up to the recommended distance in the owner’s manual
Turn on the low beams
Locate the vertical and horizontal adjustment screws or bolts on each headlight assembly
Adjust the vertical aim until the cutoff line sits at the marked height
Adjust the horizontal aim so the beam centers align with the vehicle centerline
Repeat for the other headlight
Verify both beams are even and properly aimed
Test the lights on a road at night and fine-tune if needed
