Preheat the air fryer to 390°F to 400°F
Place the hot dog in the air fryer basket
Air fry for 4 to 6 minutes
Shake the basket or turn the hot dog halfway through
Add the bun to the air fryer for the last 1 to 2 minutes if desired
Remove carefully and serve immediately
